Project Description

Most people (Iranians included) are unaware of the tremendous presence and influence of Iranians in the Bible. This independent film sheds a light on these influences, particularly King Cyrus, who not only allowed the Hebrew people to practice their own customs and laws, but actually decreed that the Jewish people build their own temple, and eventually allowed these Hebrews under his control to be freed.

Composing and producing this score gave me the opportunity to work with some truly phenomenal classical Iranian musicians, and learn about this unique musical genre.
